Associate ContractorsIn addition to our core staff, Starling Resources relies on relationships with a handful of experienced associate contractors to successfully implement some of our work in Indonesia and across Asia Pacific. These experts include the following: Stuart GreenStuart is based in the Philippines and has more than14 years experience working on multi-level, multi-agency implementation of natural resource management projects in Southeast Asia (primarily in Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia). His specialization is planning, implementation, and evaluation of community-based and marine protected area programs. He has held multiple positions with a variety of conservation organizations in the Philippines, including as the Asia Director for Reef Check, an international non-profit focusing on coral reef management and rehabilitation. He has most recently advised a number of international conservation NGOs and US-based private foundations in the Philippines on their programmatic planning and design, as well as financial strategies. Stuart holds a BSc in Applied Biology from the Hull International Fisheries Institute, University of Hull, and an MSc in Integrated Coastal Zone Management from the University of Ulster. Ivan GoenawanIvan is based in Indonesia and supports Starling's business development work across assigned focus areas. He is a Business Analyst with experience in operations, supply chain, renewable energy, power generation, healthcare and automotive sectors. Ivan focuses on low-carbon economic planning, natural resource management, and corporate sustainability. Ivan holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. He was also a Fellow and Scholarship Recipient at the Tauber Institute for Global Operations. Kunto BinawanKunto has over 10 years of experience in banking and financial consulting. His experience includes working with various clients such as oil exploration, coal mining, automotive, banking, and local government units. He also has experience in community-based project development by facilitating business plan preparation for several community organizations and NGOs' social entrepreneurship initiatives. Kunto recently led a Team in Indonesia to develop and deploy business training and capacity building materials for coastal communities in multiple provinces . Kunto is currently studying at the National University of Singapore. Kunto holds a Masters in Financial Management from Prasetiya Mulya Business School, Jakarta, and a BSc in Fishery Management from Bogor Agriculture University, Indonesia. Putu PadmawatiPutu is an early membersof the Starling Resources team. She currently resides in Germany but continues to provide support and advice to the Starling Administrative and Management teams on the financials, operations ,and management of the firm. |
